Drive by Art:

I was browsing through New York Times and came across this interesting Drive By ART that certain photographer shot while driving through the city of Los Angelos California.

Please stop psh yeah right--who can contain their phones from messaging not I!

With Barbara Kruger’s video, which ended with a message to “please stop texting” (before the state passed a law to this effect), the artist co-opted a bold direct-address technique associated with advertising to make drivers sit up in their vehicles.

To kick off Lance Armstrong’s coming Nike-sponsored benefit project with artists, Shepard Fairey created a huge mural of the cyclist on the side of the Montalban Theater in Los Angeles.

This winter, the New York artist Jacob Hashimoto unveiled an aluminum-tile, tapestry-like sculpture made for the façade of the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood.

Two years ago, the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama planted a bed of overgrown, colorful fiberglass and ceramic tulips in a Beverly Hills park visible from Santa Monica Boulevard and Rodeo Drive.

Take a look for more street art:

Radio Personality

Throughout my adventures through Commerce, Texas I stopped by our local radio station, 88.9 KETR home of Texas A&M University Commerce and interviewed myself....

Great Interview Tieranee!

What is Art Four??

Vaughn: What is Art for?... (Like if your into fashion, what is fashion for?)

Me: As I've stated before, art is the meaning of self-expression, the uniqueness in what you capture and what you represent and how you present it to other.

ART is PERSONALITY!!!!!!

Enter through Commerce...

So our last project was to drive to Paris, Texas and take photos that interest us (the class) individually.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the memo to for the 8:30 carpool so I showed up for regular class and worked on my blog like the studios person I am! (Oh yea Vaughn I did, I did)

Interestingly enough I was able to speak with Vaughn and take pics of my local town Commerce, Texas instead.

So me and my feet took an adventure with Golden Girl (my sister's car) and went on our way....

Along the way I made a few stops further throughout the what is called the  "Hole" of Commerce
